True West Tiles is a small Canadian-owned business based in West Kelowna, BC. We only collect what we need to ship your order or answer your question, and we don't sell your information to anyone.
What we collect
When you place an order
- Your name, email address, and shipping address
- The items you order and any notes you add at checkout (colour selection, etc.)
- Payment information is handled entirely by Stripe. We never see your full card number.
When you submit our contact form
- Your name, email address, optional phone number, and the contents of your message
When you browse the site
- Standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited), kept short-term for security and performance monitoring
What we don't do
We don't run advertising pixels or cross-site tracking. We don't profile you. We don't build a marketing database from your browsing.
Stripe and FormSubmit (our payment and contact-form services) may set their own cookies needed to process transactions and prevent fraud. These services explain their cookie use in the policies linked below.
How we use your information
- To process and ship your order
- To send you order receipts and shipping updates
- To respond to your messages
- To comply with Canadian tax and accounting laws (we keep order records as required)
We don't use your information for anything else without asking you first.
Who we share it with

- FormSubmit — contact-form forwarding to our email. formsubmit.co/legal
- Shipping carriers (e.g. Canada Post, Purolator, freight providers) — they receive your name and shipping address to deliver your order.
We don't share your information with anyone else, and we don't sell or rent it.
How long we keep it
- Order records: as long as required by Canadian tax law (typically 6 years from the end of the tax year).
- Contact form messages: kept indefinitely unless you ask us to delete them.
- Server logs: typically 30 days.
International data
Stripe, Cloudflare, and FormSubmit are headquartered outside Canada. When you place an order or contact us, your information may be processed in the United States or other jurisdictions where these services operate. By using the site, you consent to this.
Your rights
You can ask us:
- What information we hold about you
- To correct it if it's wrong
- To delete it (except for records we're legally required to keep, like tax records)

Children
This site is for adults buying sport court tiles. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
