Before leaving a tile court outside through winter, check the care instructions and cold-weather limits for the specific tiles you are buying. We do not publish a minimum temperature rating for our tiles. Contact us about your location and installation before ordering if winter performance is a deciding factor.
Check the base and drainage
Our tiles are made from UV-stable polypropylene with an open surface that lets water pass through. Water still needs a route away from the base below. Check for low spots where it collects, and keep drainage routes clear of leaves and debris.
Drainage does not mean a court is ready to use while it is wet or icy. Let the surface dry and check its condition before playing.
Removing snow
Check the care instructions before using snow-removal tools or de-icers. For routine clearing, use a broom or plastic shovel carefully across the surface. Avoid metal blades, ice choppers and scraping at frozen tile joints.
If ice remains, leave it to thaw rather than forcing it off. Ask us which cleaning and de-icing products are suitable for your tiles before applying them.
Cold weather and colour fading
Material and drainage features alone do not tell you how a particular tile will perform in your winter conditions. Ask for the product's temperature limits and care instructions, including whether it should stay outside at your location.
The tiles use UV-stable polypropylene, but we do not publish a guaranteed fade-free period. If colour retention matters to your project, ask us for the available product information before you buy.
Check the court after winter
Clear away grit and debris, then look for loose connections, raised edges or changes in the base. Check any damaged or uneven section before returning the court to use. Contact us if you need help identifying a replacement tile or edging piece.
What warranty is included?
We do not currently offer a separate product warranty. Any applicable original manufacturer's warranty passes through on its terms. Read our terms and ask us which manufacturer coverage, if any, applies to your order.
Tell us where the court will be installed and what the base is made of. We can help you identify the product information you need before choosing tiles.
